Shipping & delivery
Beef ships frozen in insulated boxes with dry ice, Monday–Wednesday, so nothing sits in a depot over a weekend. Most addresses receive orders within 1–2 transit days; tracking is emailed at dispatch. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout by destination and weight (rates & carriers to be confirmed).
Local customers may pick up free at the farm in Midland, NC, by appointment — schedule from your account page or call (704) 309-5076.
If your order arrives less than fully cold, contact us within 24 hours with a photo and we will replace it or refund it in full.
Payments & live-weight reconciliation
Boxes and bundles are charged in full at checkout. Beef shares (whole, half, quarter) work differently: a deposit reserves your share, and the balance is calculated after processing from the animal's actual weights at the rates published on the order page. We charge the balance to your card on file and itemize every number — live weight, hanging weight, your share, and fees. Any difference from your estimate is automatically charged or refunded.
Deposits are refundable until your animal is scheduled for processing; after that they convert to a credit toward your final balance.
Refunds & the family guarantee
We stand behind every pound. If anything is wrong with your order — quality, cut, packaging, or anything else — call or text Kevin at (704) 309-5076 within 7 days and we will make it right with a replacement, credit, or refund.
Because beef is perishable, we cannot accept physical returns; we resolve issues with photos and a conversation, like neighbors do.
Privacy
We collect only what an order requires: your name, contact details, delivery address, and order history. Payments are processed by Stripe — your card number never touches our systems. We never sell or share your information, and Farm Notes emails always include one-click unsubscribe.

Terms of sale
Live-weight figures, yields, and dates shown before processing are good-faith estimates, not guarantees; final totals come from the processor's certified weights. Share availability is first-reserved, first-served. Cut sheets lock when your animal goes to processing. Cattle sales are documented separately at the time of sale with health and registration records.
